WHAT IS BELLTOWN COVENANT?
PURPOSE
• Safe neighborhood
• Role of congregations and other spiritually rooted groups in the community
• Nature of hospitality and resources for healing in a diverse neighborhood
• Power and place of companionship and service
• Civic issues and collective action
This covenant group does not propose to speak unanimously about all things in Belltown. Rather, our aim is to share as much as possible with common purpose and consensus. “Let us do together, what we cannot and need not, do alone.”

Wednesday October 28 agenda:
1. assess where we are in terms of the BelltownVolunteers.org project, including graduate students pledged to participate, and discern how to "divide and conquer." See a brief synopsis of the project below.
2. tentatively schedule "guests" and "field trips" for winter/spring.

Seattle Parks dept. hosting first public meeting for planning of Bell Street Park Boulevard. Tuesday November 10, 2009; 7 - 9 p.m. SAM Olympic Sculpture Garden.
