BELLTOWN COVENANT

Toward building Belltown community

WHAT IS BELLTOWN COVENANT?

A covenant of spiritually rooted groups represented in the historically diverse Belltown community, aiming to work together to help grow a safe, healing, and hospitable neighborhood through lives of companionship, service and civic engagement.

PURPOSE

We hope to collaborate around themes such as:
• Safe neighborhood
• Role of congregations and other spiritually rooted groups in the community
• Nature of hospitality and resources for healing in a diverse neighborhood
• Power and place of companionship and service
• Civic issues and collective action
This covenant group does not propose to speak unanimously about all things in Belltown. Rather, our aim is to share as much as possible with common purpose and consensus. “Let us do together, what we cannot and need not, do alone.”
