- Describe yourself and/or your Belltown organization
- We are an ecumenical ministry of hospitality to Seafarers and Fishers at the Port of Seattle. We also care for retired Seafarers ie: Merchant Mariners, Navy, Fishermen. We have 2 Lutheran pastors and a Catholic Priest, Fr. Tony Haycock, who is the director. The clergy help with the pastoral needs of all of our Seafarers, they serve with a small staff of lay ship visitors for those who cannot come ashore and we run a snackbar. We are open from 10 am -7 pm (10 pm upon request). We have been welcoming the stranger as Christ at this location for more than 50 years.
