Toward building Belltown community

Representatives from Agros International, Emmaus Road, and Compass Center gathered.
Greg Rake and David Carlson hosted the meeting at Agros' Belltown office, 4th/Bell. Joining us for the first time were Jewel Bruce and Steven Curry from the Belltown location of the Compass Center.
Discussion revolved around getting to know/understand the dynamics of our neighborhood, the potential positive impact of Belltown Covenant relationships and what we might offer the neighborhood. Themes: hosting dialogue; helping residents understand history, nature, and essence of Belltown's social services population; avoiding an "us and them" mentality, among ourselves, among residents; coming alongside social activists and providing spiritual support; inviting more of Belltown's "faith rooted" folks to the Belltown Covenant
